"Rosary for Priests" is a booklet of Rosary
Devotion, which includes the prayers and
promises of the Rosary plus the twenty
decades of the Rosary. Each Joyful,
Luminous, Sorrowful, and Glorious Mystery is
accompanied by a traditional, full color
illustration. In addition, each decade is
preceded by a prayer specifically for
priests.
Our Holy
Father has asked us to pray for priests and
for priestly vocations.

The
Nativity of Jesus (Third Joyful Mystery):
We pray
that all seminarians grow in knowledge and
love of God to become holy priests. We pray
especially for those who will be ordained
soon, that they may remain faithful all
their lives to the sublime privilege of
being "other Christs" among us. We pray that
everyone will come to value the Eucharistic
Feast and the Priesthood as among God's
greatest gifts to us. We pray that every
priest will consider himself a member of the
Holy Family, a true son of Mary and Joseph,
and a brother-priest of Jesus, the great
High Priest.
The
Wedding at Cana (Second Luminous Mystery)
We
pray that just as Mary was there at the
beginning of Her Son's public ministry; that
all priests are assured and hold in their
hearts the fact that She remains for all
time for all priests as their special
intercessor and guide. We pray that priests
are always reminded and guided by the image
of Mary's fidelity to Her Son and Jesus'
fidelity to Her.
Jesus Is Crowned with Thorns (First
Sorrowful Mystery)
We
pray for priests who suffer for defending
authentic Catholic doctrine. We pray that
all Bishops will uphold the true teachings
of the Catholic Church and resist
temptations to compromise doctrine in face
of cultural and social pressures.
The
Assumption (Fourth Glorious Mystery)
We
pray that priests will be devoted to Mary
and find in her the love and comfort of a
mother, the most powerful intercession of
our greatest Saint, and the surest refuge
against Satan and his cohorts who seek
destruction of priests and the priesthood.
The "Rosary for Priests" is an excellent way
