This charming book is written by a distant relative of Saint Pio, who, when a teen, asked him if she might be his spiritual daughter.  He consented to the role, and so Graziella remained, and still remains, the spiritual daughter of Padre Pio.

Reading this book is like sitting down over coffee with Graziella and having her share her memories of the saint.  She recalls incident after incident, involving herself or family members and neighbors who had encounters with Padre Pio.  The reader comes away with an intimate understanding of how closely Saint Pio was tied to the lives of ordinary men and women and of how much he loved them and they him.
